Very welcoming arrival before we headed out to a 50th party and
university reunion in Hertford. Very comfortable and clean room. What
was so impressive about the breakfast was not "only" the quantity, but
primarily the quality of the bacon, sausages and eggs...excellent! Great
customer service. Explained in advance on the booking form that my wife
can't eat wheat...so, what a fine surprise to see that the owners had
bought in gluten free bread! Many thanks
Comment: Just went here on the weekend before heading out to fireworks love the food, been to a few places but none serve dishes quite like these.tasty andd very generous portions too will be back at christmas for seconds xx thank you!!!!

Comment: We went to the Papillon last night as a group of 4 people and had a wonderful meal.
The menu offers lots of choice, either as an a la carte menu or fixed price menu. The food was of a high standard and quality and service was excellent, if not a little quick between the starter and main course. Desserts were very generous and I actually shared mine with a a friend.
All our starters and mains were good sized portions, and I would recommend the mussels, which came in a lovely garlicy, creamy sauce

Comment: Have just visited for my 50th birthday celebration meal with family, we all had a fantastic time. There was lots to choose from on the menu. The food was wonderful, as always, the portions are plentiful and all of it was delicious.
